In Selahuddin Eyyubi Episode 26, the Fatimid commander, Malik Arslan, is taking the Turkish chieftains to Egypt at Bernard’s behest. Salahuddin is looking for him to avenge the death of Sirya Khatam and get the chieftains. He defeats the Fatimid commander and his soldiers, but as he kills Malham and Saraya, he avenges the woman’s death.

As the chieftains are freed, Malik Arslan’s nephew escapes with his soldiers, and Bernard and Salahuddin follow them. Karatigan, a barrier between Malik Arslan and the chieftains’ jirga, falls into the hands of the crusaders, who take him prisoner to fulfill their conditions from the Sultan.

Malik Arslan finds his nephew injured and blames Salahuddin for his stupidity. Sultan Nur-ud-Din becomes angry and warns the tribes to take their soldiers immediately and take over Gaza. When Karatigan sends his border ghazis to liberate the chieftains, a fight between them and Selbi soldiers ensues. In Gaza, when Malik Arslan and Bernard learn that the prisoners have escaped, there is no agreement between them and they leave to get the chieftains. Caratigan sees Bernard with his soldiers and sends his chiefs in another direction while himself goes in another direction. Bernard surrounds Caratigan with his soldiers, bravely confronting them and throwing the worm into a deep ravine, while Salahuddin is secretly watching it.
