Kudüs Fatihi Selahaddin Eyyubi Episode 27 begins with Karategin, where Bernard and Karategin are fighting on the edge of a cliff, and Karategin is alone in facing Bernard. During the fight, Karategin gets injured, but suddenly, Arslan Shah’s nephew hides and shoots two arrows into Karategin’s chest, causing him to fall off the cliff. Salahuddin witnesses all of this. After Karategin falls from the cliff, both Bernard and Salahuddin, with their respective soldiers, start searching for the man. Salahuddin sends some of his men down the cliff to retrieve Karategin’s body. However, when Salahuddin’s men reach the spot, they find that Karategin’s body is not there. This astonishes everyone as they wonder how a body could disappear.

Meanwhile, Bernard captures Arslan Shah’s nephew Timur and, evading Salahuddin and his soldiers, takes Timur with him and tortures him to find out why he killed Karategin and what Arslan Shah’s plan is.

On the other hand, taking advantage of Arslan Shah’s absence, Salahuddin and Turan Shah recapture Gaza according to their plan. When Arslan Shah learns about this, he immediately heads to Gaza, but the gates are closed against him upon his arrival. He returns to the Boro tribe with many leaders, and the leaders assure him that they have done a lot to save them, while Sultan Nuruddin only used them. Thus, the leaders side with Arslan Shah and vow to take revenge on Bernard for Karategin.

However, Sultan Nuruddin Zangi arrives at the Boro tribe and gives Arslan Shah a final warning that Gaza has been captured, so it would be better for him to leave immediately. The leaders defend Arslan Shah and say that Sultan Nuruddin did not try to save them. Sultan Nuruddin then explains that they were the ones who, alongside them, had conquered Gaza and that they had sent soldiers to save him. Despite this, the leaders ally with Arslan Shah.

Afterwards, Bernard meets Arslan Shah and tells him that his nephew is in his custody. Bernard then tells Arslan Shah that if he wants this news not to reach Salahuddin and Sultan Nuruddin Zangi, he must recapture Gaza and let Bernard rule it, but the benefits will be shared.

When Salahuddin hears that Karategin’s body is not where it was supposed to be, he also goes into the forest to search for the body. There, he encounters various people who appear quite different in every way. Salahuddin is amazed to see them and then discusses the matter with Umar Mulla, telling him that it is possible Karategin is alive, but his whereabouts are unknown. Umar Mulla informs him that Karategin’s mountain brothers and their people have taken him towards the mountains. Upon hearing this, Salahuddin, with his soldiers, seeks permission from Sultan and Ismat Khatun to go in search of Karategin to find out who shot the arrows and who the traitor is.

On the other side, viewers are shown Karategin, where his mountain brothers are treating him, and eventually, Karategin opens his eyes, revealing that his life has been saved. Everyone present there is overjoyed to see their leader alive. Upon regaining consciousness, Karategin first talks about revenge and says that he must return to his tribe to take revenge on Arslan Shah. However, his people tell him that he is their leader, and they had once lost their leader but do not want to lose him again. Therefore, they refuse to let him go anywhere. They are so loyal to Karategin that they do not let him leave even on his orders.

Meanwhile, Bernard and his men are tracking Karategin, but Karategin’s people are so clever and smart that they manage to deceive Bernard and escape his sight. Nevertheless, Bernard continues to pursue them. When Karategin’s people realize that Salahuddin and Bernard are both chasing them with their soldiers, they lead them to a cave where they have set a trap. As soon as Bernard and Salahuddin enter the cave with their soldiers, they find no one there, and a strange smoke fills the cave, causing Bernard and Salahuddin and their soldiers to lose consciousness. And this is where Episode 27 ends.
