Kurulus Osman Episode 131 Review

The beginning of Kurulus Osman Episode 131 starts with a dream in which Osman Ghazi’s son, Alaudin, sees a dream. In this dream, his mother is crying over the separation of her daughter Halima. Then, in the same dream, he sees his mother burying someone in a grave. When Alaudin wakes up from this dream, his sister Fatima offers him water, and there’s a change in the scene as Osman Ghazi is practicing sword fighting. Later, he competes with his cousin Konur in a duel.

In the next scene, Osman Ghazi and his commanders plan to conquer the regions of Malhun Hatun. They leave the fortress and address their soldiers, who are ready for battle. During this, a messenger arrives from Konya with news that Sultan Masud has been poisoned. Osman Ghazi and his council discuss this news and start preparing for the possibility of a new Sultan being elected.

Meanwhile, we are introduced to Elcin Hatun, who is waiting for four prisoners, and alongside them, we see the son of Charkhoy. Then, the scene changes to Jacob Bey, who is shown visiting his market, inspecting various goods, and discussing plans to strengthen his tribe and expand his market with his son.

During this time, an arrow is shot at Yaqoob Bey, but he manages to survive, and his son avenges him by killing the one who attempted the assassination. They find a symbol on the attacker, indicating the involvement of another tribe.

Simultaneously, Yakub Bey receives news of Sultan Masud’s death, and he suspects Osman Ghazi’s involvement. Yakub Bey instructs his son to gather the commanders and prepare to march towards the fortress.

Next, we see Osman Ghazi’s family, including Malhun Hatun, Fatima Hatun, and others, discussing their situation. Following that, Bala Hatun is shown to be seriously ill, and her condition is critical. She has a dream that resembles the one Alaudin saw initially.

Later, Alar Ghazi is sent to the border to meet the rebels, while Khan Ghazi is dispatched to unite his tribe with Osman’s forces. All the commanders are ordered to gather, and a message is sent to Elci to bring the news.

On the other side, we witness Elcin Hatun, who is shown waiting for four prisoners, and along with them, the son of Charkhoy is also present.

Then, the scene changes again, and we are shown Yakup Bey, who is discussing various matters with his son in the market, including strengthening their tribe and expanding their influence. During this conversation, an arrow is shot at Yakup Bey, but he survives, and his son kills the attacker, revealing a symbol associated with another tribe.

During these events, Yakup Bey learns of Sultan Masud’s death and suspects Osman Ghazi’s involvement. He instructs his son to gather the commanders and prepare to march toward the fortress.

Meanwhile, Osman Ghazi and his council demand the release of the four prisoners from Jacob Bey. In return, they offer a significant amount of gold, but Jacob Bey refuses and instead attacks them. Osman Ghazi intervenes and is captured.

At the same time, Jacob Bey arrives at the fortress and informs them that Sultan Masud is dead. He declares himself as the new Sultan, but Osman Ghazi refuses to pledge allegiance to him, stating that he will fight for the sake of Allah.

In the next scene, we see a trailer for Episode 132, where Viziers, who is a special minister of Constantinople, plans to create conflict among the Turks. Sultan Masud’s death is revealed to have been caused by poison given by him to incite the Turks against each other. The episode also shows how Osman Ghazi thwarts his plans and how Jacob Bey deals with Alaudin Bey. Holofira Hatun is rescued by Mahmud Bey from Alaudin Bey, leading to a conflict between them. The season promises to be full of intrigue and action.
